1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using Link Trove ("the Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

Link Trove is a Chrome browser extension that allows users to:

• Save and organize web links locally in your browser
• Add custom tags and notes to saved links
• Search and manage saved links
• Import and export your link collection
• Access links through keyboard shortcuts (Alt+S to save, Alt+L to view)
• Use tag suggestions based on your existing tags

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Extension in compliance with all applicable laws
• Not attempt to modify, reverse engineer, or manipulate the Extension
• Not use the Extension for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Be responsible for managing your stored links and maintaining backups
• Monitor your storage usage and manage your saved links accordingly

4. Data Storage and Limits

The Extension:

• Stores all data locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API
• Has a storage limit of 10MB as per Chrome's restrictions
• Will notify you when storage capacity reaches 95%
• Provides import/export functionality for data management

5. Intellectual Property

The Extension, including all associated logos, code, and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Extension except as expressly permitted.

6. Third-Party Services

The Extension uses:

• Google Fonts for typography
• Font Awesome for icons
• Chrome Storage API for data management

These services may have their own terms of use and privacy policies.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The Extension will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Saved links will always be accessible
• Local storage will always be available

8. Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Extension
• Loss of saved links or data
• Storage limitations or failures

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
